Background:
Mrs. Siegler graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1970 and received the call to play organ and teach 1st and 2nd grade at St. Stephen's in Beaver Dam, WI. In 1971 I married Carl Siegler and taught 5th and 6th grade at Calvary in Thiensville, WI. After Carl finished his last year at the seminary we moved to Tomahawk, WI. There Carl served as pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church. During our years in Tomahawk the Lord blessed us with four children, Joanna, Jonathan, Rebekah, and Sarah. In January of 1983 the Lord suddenly called Carl to his heavenly home. Later that year I received the call from Grace in La Crosse to teach 1st grade at MCG. Little did we know of the many blessings the Lord had in store for us with this move! While teaching I was able to attend UWL and received my masters degree in 1992. I was privileged to teach different combinations of K, 1st, and 2nd grades at MCG for 36 years, retiring in June of 2019. Now I am thankful for the privilege of working part time with students as a teacher's aide in Mr. B's room.
