Background:
Mrs. Gates attended First Lutheran Grade School and Luther High School where she met her husband, Mike. They’ve been married for 40 years. They have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Gates studied Early Elementary Education at Viterbo and UWL. Before coming to Mt. Calvary to teach PreK3, she did licensed daycare in their home for 35 years. She took many continuing education classes for state licensing requirements at WTC and online. What she loves most about teaching preschool are the laughs and love she gets from her students everyday and the chance to share Bible stories of Jesus and his love for them.
